However, we want to make sure you’re up to date on the biggest trailers and release dates for upcoming movies and TV shows. Although fans did get an early round of official trailers for Clayface, Another mother and Avengers: Doomsday Ahead of the conference, Apple TV and Warner Bros. Prime Video, Paramount and more studios are offering sneak peeks and exciting teasers of their rosters.

Stephen King has given his stamp of approval and is executive producing Prime Video’s Carrie TV series, which is set to premiere on October 7. From director Mike Flanagan, the show transports Carrie into a modern world where cell phones and the Internet give bullies a larger audience. But just because the novel took place in 1974 and we’re now in the year 2026, doesn’t mean this new take won’t have Carrie’s telekinetic powers setting things on fire.
Lanterns
When the teaser for DC’s Earth-heavy Lanters dropped a few months ago, it looked pretty full. There was Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan challenging John Stewart’s entitlement to carry the Green Lantern Corp ring, the desert-related conspiracy sentiments, flashbacks to John’s childhood and even a flash of Guy Gardner on screen. DC has taken over the powers of the ring, but with a new Comic-Con trailer released on Friday, things escalate when the Manhunters arrive on the planet to take down the Lanterns. Check out the Interstellar and Sinestro ports in the trailer, and get ready for the series to arrive on HBO Max on August 16.
Blade Runner 2099
After several years in the making, Blade Runner 2099 will debut on November 25 on Prime Video. The eight-episode limited series is a sequel to 2017’s Blade Runner 2049, and stars Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer, with Sheila Atim, Kaitlyn Rose Downey, Dimitri Upload, and Daniel Rigby among the cast.
The film takes place in an alternate version of Los Angeles, where clones run things, and humans play a secondary role, The series sees Yeoh’s replicant Olwen hunting down outlaw replicants who have gone missing. With her own shelf life on a ticking clock, the stakes are high for her and her human partner on the run, Cora (Schaffer).
The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, Season 3
Remember in the Lord of the Rings trilogy all that talk about “the one ring that rules them all?” Well, Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power will be all about that. These episodes take place five years after Season 2, and Sauron’s war with the Elves appears to be going strong, and he has expanded his power across the majority of Middle-earth. Now all Sauron has to do is craft that pesky ring so he can rule them all.
Jamie Campbell Bower joins the cast as the elven lord Celeborn, husband of Galadriel and a noble warrior in the fight against Sauron. This season will also introduce the Nazgnagôl, known as the Ringwraiths, in an early form of the corrupt Ringbearers in the story. The new season premieres November 11 on Prime Video.
Al Wasil, Season 4
The fourth season of Reacher, based on Gone Tomorrow, the thirteenth book in Lee Child’s successful series of novels, finds Jack Reacher traveling from rural America to the streets of Manhattan. Changing the tone of previous seasons, the new installment finds Reacher caught up in a political conspiracy, leaving him with few people he can trust.
Trapped on the streets of New York, with the FBI and CIA on the hunt for Jack Reacher, this season finds our hero once again immersed in a mission to bring villains to justice. It just so happens that this time this bad guy is apparently running for president. Alan Ritchson returns as Reacher alongside series newcomers Christopher Rodriguez Marquette, Cedile Noel, Agnes Moe, Angun, and Kevin Corrigan.

Maria Steen Negli was one of Jack Reacher’s fiercest and most skilled students. Now on her own spin-off, she’ll take pictures in the name of justice and end up revealing something much darker than imagined. The first season of the action series will premiere on Prime Video on September 16.
Queen of the Damned
AMC’s Interview With the Vampire is set to enter its fourth season focusing on the vampire Akasha, and the new season has been dubbed “Queen of the Damned.” The third season (titled The Vampire Lestat) introduced her into the story and introduced actress Sheila Atim as the first female vampire. Atim, along with co-stars Jacob Anderson, Asad Zaman, and Eric Bogosian, appeared in Hall H to share the news.
Matchbox movie
Children who played with Matchbox cars when they were young grow up and learn that their friend is a CIA agent who sets them up on a case. That’s the premise of the new Apple TV comedy starring John Cena as the spy and Jessica Biel, Teyonah Parris, Sam Richardson, and Arturo Castro as said friends. You can stream the film on October 9.
Neuromancer
Science Fiction for Apple TV The shows tend to be top-notch, and a cyberpunk-themed Neuromancer game looks like it could be a great addition. Callum Turner is Case, a hacker drawn into a dangerous game of life and death involving espionage, artificial intelligence, and deception. Based on William Gibson’s 1984 novel, the TV series will consist of 10 episodes and will premiere on January 22, 2027.
Coyote vs. Peak
The film was previously shelved by Warner Bros. Discovery, an animated-meets-live-action thriller picked up by Ketchup Entertainment, will open in theaters on August 28. After Wile E. Coyote grew tired of Acme’s unreliable products, he decided to hire a lawyer and sue the company. Will Forte stars as Kevin Avery, who represents Coyote in his case, with John Cena as Buddy Crane, an Acme corporate consultant. The film also features Lana Condor along with a host of Looney Tunes characters like Porky Pig, Tweety, Foghorn Leghorn, and Granny (who hit the anvil).
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Season 3
A host of new gods and demigods are set to descend on Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, including Aphrodite and the Children of Hades. The new eight-episode installment will premiere on November 20.
Back in January, Disney Plus gave viewers an idea of what was to come when it showed off a scene of Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Savva Jeffries) hitting the dance floor at the middle school dance. But things get a little darker and more dangerous this time for the children of Camp Half-Blood.
Based on the third book in Rick Riordan’s series, The Titan’s Bane, this season takes Percy and his crew on a rescue mission to save the goddess Artemis (played by Daphne Keen). Viewers will be introduced to the titan Atlas (Holt McCallany), Annabeth’s human father (Jesse L. Martin), and the Olympian gods Hera (Ming-Na Wen), Demeter (Jennifer Beals), and Apollo (Hubert Smilecki). Kate McKinnon plays Aphrodite.
Ebenezer
Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con, dressed as Ebenezer Scrooge for the upcoming film, in which he plays Charles Dickens’ legendary miser. The film, scheduled to hit theaters on November 13, also stars Rupert Grint, Ian McKellen, Daisy Ridley, and Sam Claflin in a star-studded cast.
Avatar: Seven Havens
From the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender, this new series follows the legend of Korra and follows a pair of twin avatars, one of whom is Korra’s successor. Being a harbinger of destruction during a time when the spirit world and the material world are out of balance, Buffy – and her sister Nisha – will need to look to the past to discover their identity and find a way to save the Seven Havens. The animated series will premiere this fall on Paramount Plus.
Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO
Kenji Kamiyama is directing the new anime film from Sola Animation, which will serve as a sort of prequel. Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO is set approximately 100 years before Gundam Rogue Orbit, breaking down the origins of the world that fans know. Guided by Kamiyama’s vision, the 2027 film will also tie into the world of video games.
Regular Show: The Missing Tapes
An extended sneak peek at the new season of Regular Show: The Lost Tapes is now available for our consumption. When the show was revived as The Lost Tapes, it gave viewers new adventures with Mordecai and Rigby through the lens of Pops catching up with them from the afterlife. Well, there are more VHS tapes to dig into when the next season hits Cartoon Network and HBO Max next September.
Stuart fails to save the universe
The HBO Max spin-off of The Big Bang Theory follows Stuart, played by Kevin Sussman, as he attempts to repair the damage he caused after breaking one of Leonard and Sheldon’s inventions. A multiversal, reality-hopping thrill ride ensues, as viewers see alternate versions of the characters they know and much more. The first episode debuted on July 23, but a clip was shared during the show’s Comic-Con panel. You can stream new episodes every Thursday at 9pm ET.
Dark Matter, Season 2
The Apple TV panel also included a preview of Season 2 of Dark Matter, which draws the Dessen family deeper into the mysteries of The Box. Their stability is threatened, as will be the case with Amanda and Ryan when the series returns on August 28.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Season 4
During the Star Trek 60th Anniversary Celebration in Hall H on Saturday, the crew gave the audience a sneak peek at what’s to come in Season 4 of Strange New Worlds.
