The latest iPad In the lineup, it happens to have the biggest Amazon Prime Day discount this year. Apple has updated iPad Air 13 inch With the M4 chip just a few months ago and the price has already dropped to $700. That’s $100 off retail, and it’s the best iPad Prime Day deal ever.
The deal is on the Space Gray model and comes with 128GB storage and 12GB unified memory. This extra memory—up from 8GB in the previous generation iPad Air—plus the M4 chip provides the most performance you’ll ever need in an iPad.
But really, this is an iPad for people who sometimes need more from their device. For example, you might want to try out some more graphically intense games or even get some work done while you travel. The iPad Air can handle this in a way that the standard iPad can’t.
If that’s your intention, getting the 13-inch model is also important. This extra screen brings the iPad’s gorgeous display to life and allows you to spread out your windows a little wider. And yes, you heard that right. In the latest official 2025 iPadOS release, you can now pull out windows for convenient multitasking, and the larger screen makes that even more useful.
However, the iPad Air isn’t the only iPad on sale for Prime Day. The next best discount is on the iPad mini for 2025. It’s also down by $100, bringing the price to $500. This is the cheapest it has been for at least the last few months. Unlike the iPad Air, it’s just a content consumption device. It excels for those times when you want to lie on the couch or poolside. As a tablet that’s small enough to use with one hand, it’s a great reading device too.
The other two iPads in the group don’t have a huge discount. both of them iPad Pro sizes $100 off, but that’s what they usually sell for. The same is true for the basic 11-inch iPad, which has a standard price of $50. Selling for $299. There’s nothing wrong with these iPads per se — in fact, they remain the basic iPad Best iPad overall I think most people should buy. It’s simple, but this is where the iPad shines as a tablet.
The iPad Air and iPad Pro, on the other hand, need accessories that make them feel like a complete product. Speaking of which, there are a number of my own Favorite iPad accessories On sale for Prime Day which is also worth checking out.
Apple Magic Keyboard for 13-inch iPad Air is $279: There are a lot of iPad keyboard cases, and many of them are good. But only the Apple Magic Keyboard truly elevates the iPad experience. The magnetic design means it’s very easy to add or remove the iPad, while the tiled corner is perfect for quick touches or swipes. It even adds an extra USB-C port for good measure.
