But the app experience is better than what was offered on the original Game Boy with options to make adjustments to settings such as shutter speed, gain, exposure, sharpness, stillness, and grain, as well as the ability to apply one of 32 different color palettes.

Images captured by your smartphone camera are processed and output as low-resolution images of 128 x 112 pixels with color dithering and a simple color palette. When you use the real Game Boy Camera device or the app’s emulation mode, the photos you create are stored in your phone’s camera roll so they can be easily accessed and shared.
