This is an epic year for gaming, but with so many great games being released this year, you have to ask yourself if you can afford them. After all, games are becoming more and more expensive. Fortunately, if you’re looking for games that won’t leave your wallet hurting, there’s a place you can go: the Epic Games Store. A free game on this platform is available to download and play weekly.
Fortnite Publisher Epic Games provides access to a wide range of games with the Epic Games storefront. It’s similar to Steam, but unlike the platform run by Valve, Epic provides access to free games every week: from both indie developers to major AAA titles. If you’re into exciting action games, fun role-playing adventures, or quirky indie games, there are plenty to choose from. As long as you have a decent gaming PC, the Epic Games Store lets you dive into a bunch of great experiences for less. You can snag free games and score deep discounts on popular titles.
The Epic Games Store has been giving away free games every week since 2019, so there’s always something fun to check out and play. No matter your platform, it’s wise to take advantage of Discounts and dealsespecially free. If you haven’t subscribed yet, create an account to claim a new weekly game.
If you’re just starting out playing in the Epic Games Store and want to know what to expect, as well as what you may have missed in the past, our guide will help point out everything you need to know.
What’s the new free game in the Epic Games Store this week? (January 23-30)
CNET/Silver Lining Studio
Behind the frame: the best scene
Video games don’t have to be an explosive affair every time. If you’re looking for a more elegant and graceful experience, you’ll find that in spades with Silver Lining Studio behind the frame: the ultimate scene.
In this atmospheric puzzle game, players will need to make brush strokes and stay calm to complete a variety of puzzles. The downside is that they will have to do so under the punishing gaze of their Prussian neighbor, as well as his annoying orange cat.
For those who love games rich with stories and devastatingly beautiful artwork, Behind the Frame: The best scene is one of the scenes.
Behind the Frame: The Best Scene is available for free download now at Epic games store.

He doesn’t die
The Zombie Apocalypse does not discriminate – it does not matter whether you are a pre-teen or a single mother with children. Anyone can go at any time. But what do you do when you’re the only thing in your little boy’s life?
This is an undying hypothesis. Players assume the role of mother Anling, who, after being bitten, has no choice but to teach her son Cody how to survive. Each play is different, with multiple paths and options. One option may make the route a little easier or a little more complicated.
undying is available for free download next week via Epic games store.
