Visit the WIRED@NIGHT02 movie screening!

For the second time At the WIRED@NIGHT event, WIRED is presenting a special screening of the film WIRED@NIGHT The oldest person in the worlda documentary that won’t hit theaters until September. Appropriately, the location is Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn.

The oldest person in the worldDirected by Academy Award nominee Sam Green, the film is a decade-long global journey chronicling the ever-changing list of record holders for the title of oldest person alive. What begins as a picture of longevity becomes a meditation on the passage of time, the randomness of fate, the joy and the profoundly human experience of life.

After the film, Green will be joined by distinguished director Rehan Harmansi to talk about WIRED’s very topic – longevity. What can we learn from these “super centenarians,” and why are people so obsessed with striving for a long life? Are we here for a good time or a long time?
