Verizon is one of the largest carriers in the country, and they have plenty of deals that anyone can take advantage of right now. The company will offer it to you for free or at a significantly reduced price apple or Samsung New and replacement line smartphone if you qualify. Additionally, students, teachers, first responders, and military personnel are eligible for discounted monthly plans that can lower monthly bills and make it easier to stretch your finances.

Verizon routinely offers big savings on phones, but it’s important to note that the majority of these discounts are applied as credits over 36 months. This means you’ll need to be a Verizon customer for at least three years to pay off your phone. You will be responsible for any remaining fees if you cancel before the end of that period.

Verizon is offering you the chance to get any of the latest Apple models iPhone 17 lineup For less at the moment. Just adding a new line to a qualifying unlimited plan can save you up to $1,000, putting a basic iPhone 17 or iPhone Air in your pocket for free. Verizon uses ID.me to verify eligibility, with the discount appearing on your bill in “one or two billing cycles.” You only need to have one teacher on your plan to get the discount to apply for all lines.

Verizon’s deal for nurses is similar to the one for teachers mentioned above, with up to 10% off each month on wireless plans.

You’ll need to verify your business through ID.me, with the discount appearing in “one or two billing cycles.” Only one nurse must be in your account for all lines to get the savings, although you can’t combine the nurse discount with the teacher offer.

Verizon offers a discount for active military personnel, veterans, and first responders. As with the special offers for teachers and nurses, you only need one person on your plan to be eligible for a discount of up to 10%, which varies based on the number of lines you have.

Verizon uses ID.me to verify eligibility, with the military offering available to both active duty service members and veterans. The first responder deal is open to “firefighters, police, EMS workers, retirees, volunteers and immediate families of those who have fallen in the line of duty.”

Verizon’s student discount is actually very good. You must be “an actively enrolled student (including online enrollment) at a U.S. secondary educational institution of higher education, including undergraduate, graduate, and/or school or professional institution.”

The discount is available on many existing plans, including the Welcome Unlimited plan.

Verizon verifies registration through Unidays and limits the discount to two lines per account. The provider also requires annual verification of enrollment.

Verizon has a discount for customers 55 or older, though you’ll need to be in Florida to get it. If you do, you can get unlimited 5G talk, text, and data for $45 per month on one line or $80 per month on two lines. Like the student deal, this limit is capped at a maximum of two lines per account.

This includes memberships, subscriptions, and benefits like Walmart Plus and Disney Plus bundles, a 100GB hotspot, and more.
