Using AI companion apps makes many singles feel satisfied, a survey has found

Despite all the ways you can use AI in the dating scene, singles have some serious concerns. Most singles in the survey said they use AI for daily productivity tasks, but when it comes to dating, robots can’t accompany them on the journey. Most of them want purely human relationships.

Most singles don’t want someone interested in an AI companion

Salas advises caution when using AI in dating. “I think you really have to be careful because it would take a lot of liberties and give incorrect or unwarranted advice. Save that for the actual people who know you. Ask them instead.” Instead, Salas recommends using AI to edit and generate ideas, such as ways to show someone you care — not as a replacement for humans.

Using AI for dating has limitations

There are some exceptions.
