Up to $400 off: The smart refrigerator that haunts my algorithm

This colorful style of bar cart The mini fridge has been all over my social media lately. I don’t know if it’s because it’s summer or because the algorithm has (correctly) pegged me as someone who doesn’t want to walk more than 50 feet for a canned cocktail.

I’m not sure if I can overstate how good Rocco looks in person. The color-matched metal tray on top and the fluted glass front are intended to refract light to prevent UV rays from damaging the kombucha or kava. The metal body somehow looks vintage and completely contemporary at the same time and goes with almost any decor.

The standout feature of the Rocco, other than the fact that it comes in eight colors — including black, white, blue, orange, yellow, green (shown) and the new beige — is its Smart App. It allows you to see the contents of the refrigerator as scanned by the refrigerator itself, and control the lighting and temperature from afar. When Whatman tested it out, he was impressed by the library of beverages the refrigerator knew, from the mysterious algae-infused OoMee to the canned Yaté yerba mate.
