Google Pixel devices Famous for Leak earlyBut it’s never like that. According to Share X From Gearbox Entertainment Company founder Randy Pitchford (the studio behind… Borderlands series of games), a friend of his found the Pixel Watch 5 while scuba diving near the island of St. Martin in the Caribbean Sea.
A friend of mine found this watch a few days ago underwater while scuba diving near St. Maarten Island. He pointed out that the back of the watch indicates that it is a Google Pixel 5, a phone that has not yet been announced, let alone launched. He seems fine. The face… pic.twitter.com/Mnenov1sFE

Pitchford’s post – published on Sunday – includes two images showing the front and back of the device. The top right of the back of the watch says “Pixel Watch 5” in faint text, but the watch looks similar to last year’s watch. pixel watch 4.
Pitchford says in the post that the purpose of publishing this is to help return the device to a Google employee who would be a better fit. in The post was updated later on Sunday“Thanks to the magic of the internet, I am now in contact with the owner and we have arranged for it to be returned,” says Pitchford.
CNET has reached out to Google for comment but we have not received a response.
While we’ve certainly heard of devices popping up in the wild before their official debut, they’re usually out there somewhere Like a bar.
But if this was the Pixel Watch 5, why was it in the ocean? Will that next watch have its own feature to support it? Dive like the Apple Watch UltraBut slipped during the test?
When I shared this report with my colleague, Vanessa Hand Orellana, who had just reviewed it Google’s new Fitbit Air She said the fitness tracker raises a lot of questions.

“If everything comes true, this would be a crazy coincidence,” Orellana said.
This potential ocean discovery comes as we head into the summer season, which is when we expect Google to unveil its next line of Pixel phones and watches. The Pixel 10 was unveiled last year in August, and it’s very likely that Google will put the potential Pixel 11 and Pixel Watch 5 through final product tests before unveiling them.
Until Google officially steps in, Pixel Watch fans can take a closer look at Pitchford’s photos and see the evidence, just in case this is indeed the Pixel Watch 5.
