TikTok and Tubi are teaming up to bring more of your favorite creators to your TV screens


Tik Tokwho can now be considered a Hollywood trendsetter and trendsetter, is making new moves with it tubes. The partnership between the popular social media app and Free streaming service It expands with the introduction of the Creatorverse Incubator, the two companies announced Thursday. If you are TikTok creator – Or if you have a few favorites whose content you follow – there’s a chance to see TikTok content brought to life as an original Tubi series.

You may have already streamed Terry Joe: Missionary in Miami on the platform, which brought to life the TikTok character made famous by Kelon Campbell in the original full-length Tubi movie. Under this new collaboration, more TikTok artists will be selected to turn their stories into scripted or unscripted television productions that will be launched on Tubi. Each creator will be able to guide the development and direction of the project they are creating, with Tubi on deck to guide and provide support.

How will creators be selected? TikTok will play a role in the creator selection process, and over the summer, Tubi will announce the first round group of aspiring storytellers for the program. Once these shows start arriving on Tubi, TikTok plans to tap into its global fanbase to help promote each streaming release.

No stranger to turning social media stars into filmmakers, Tubi has previously rolled out its app Stubius programa fan-driven initiative that allows viewers to greenlight TV and film projects from online content creators.
