The Viltrumite War begins today: What to expect for Invincible Season 4

The stage is set for Viltrumite’s war Prime VideoBased on the comedy series Invincible and the new season Premiere today With its first three episodes.

By now, Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) – aka Invincible – has been beaten a million times. He has fought cyborgs, Martians, mad scientists, and evil versions of himself. He has survived a brutal battle with his father, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). After his battle with the bloodthirsty Conquest at the end of Season 3, Mark appears to rely on robotic limbs (designed by Rhodey, aka the Robot).

All of this pales in comparison to what comes next.

The trailer for Season 4 shows the Viltrumites preparing to invade Earth. Season 3 revealed that fewer than 50 members of the cruel alien race remained. Unfortunately, even one of them could destroy Mark and destroy his home planet. This season will introduce Thragg (Lee Pace), the most powerful Viltrumite ever.

Allen the Alien (Seth Rogen) seems considerably less cheerful in the film Latest teaser trailer“Everything bad happens at the same time.”

But Mark will get some help from new allies. There is the Planetary Alliance, whose members include alien Allen and Viltrumite defector Thaddeus. They team up with Atom Eve, Tech Jacket, and other superheroes from the Guardians of the Globe. They are joined by Battle Beast and Mark’s half-brother Oliver, now a teenager. (They grow up so fast!)

There’s a big question mark hanging over Season 4: Omni-Man. The former hero betrayed the Earth and his son; He has since taken his share of hits, escaping from the Viltrum Empire’s prison and joining the Planetary Alliance to redeem himself. But is he really back as an ally?

“You have to trust me,” he told Mark.

We’ll all find out soon. The first three episodes will be released today, with a new episode airing every Wednesday until the season finale on April 22.
