The next Nintendo Direct will be on June 9th

Summer Games Festival It may be over, but the deluge of gaming news is far from over. Nintendo Just announced They will hold their next live demo event on June 9 at 10 a.m. ET. Stream you can find herewill be followed by a Treehouse Live event, and it looks like it will be a very long one. “Nintendo Direct will be approximately 50 minutes long, while Nintendo Treehouse: Live will be 95 minutes long,” the company says.

There’s no word yet on what exactly to expect, but it’s likely this will be a big reveal for Nintendo, given how quiet the back half of the year has been for the company’s release calendar. There are a few major Switch 2 games coming – Star Fox (June 25), Rhythm sky groove (July 2), and Splatoon Raiders (July 23) – But nothing further than that currently. Fire Emblem: Weave of Luck It is also scheduled to be released in 2026, but does not currently have a release date the next Pokemon It won’t launch until next year.

The Direct also comes as Nintendo catches up with the rest of the gadget world Switch 2 prices raisedwhich means it will need a particularly compelling holiday lineup for its now-more-expensive console.
