The Logitech Mini Foldable Mouse improves your laptop’s trackpad

Logitech is reportedly developing a new wireless mouse that can be folded in half to make it easier to carry in a bag or pocket. According to the leaked marketing images he shared WinFuturethe Logitech foldable mouse caused “22 percent less muscle fatigue” than using a laptop trackpad, and can be used across “multiple operating systems.”

Logitech’s design is visually similar to Surface Arc Mouse from Microsoft and Lenovo Yoga MouseIt has the same arched shape when opened for use. One key difference is that while Microsoft and Lenovo’s offerings can only fold flat, Logitech’s new mouse — whose name is still unknown — folds in half like a clamshell. There are no official specifications or dimensions available yet, but one image shows that it is very small when folded, appearing to be dwarfed by the hand that places it in a pocket.

Instead of the traditional scroll wheel, WinFuture Reports indicate that the new Logitech mouse will feature a so-called “Adaptive Touch Scrolling” area between the two standard mouse buttons that enables users to scroll by hovering over the small trackpad. A green light can be seen in this touch-sensitive area, which likely indicates an active wireless connection. The new Logitech mouse can be paired with up to three host devices via Bluetooth WinFutureIts shape allows it to be used by left- and right-handed users.

There are also some marketing images in this leak that say the new mouse “perfectly matches” the Logitech design Keys-to-Go 2 portable keyboard. We only see a gray version of the mouse in these leaked images, but since the keyboard also comes in white and purple, other color options may be available as well.

For information regarding pricing, battery life, and availability, we’ll need to wait for Logitech’s official announcement.
