The Hundred returns this week, with some big changes in store for the new season of the UK’s 100-ball cricket league.
The new ownership means both defending champion teams have been renamed, with the Oval Invincibles now known as MI London (the men’s team), while last year’s women’s winners Northern Superchargers have been renamed SunRisers Leeds. Meanwhile, Jos Buttler’s Manchester Originals are now known as the Manchester Super Giants, while most other teams will wear new colors and badges for the 2026 campaign.
The new term also introduces a combined men’s and women’s trophy awarded to the best performing team overall, as well as the men’s and women’s individual titles.
