Suno tends to customize with version 5.5

Suno has just released one of its biggest updates yet with v5.5 For its AI music model. Where previous updates mostly focused on Improve fidelity And create More natural soundsversion 5.5 is about giving users more control. It includes three new features: Sounds, My Taste, and Custom Forms.

In the release notes, Suno says that sounds are the most requested feature. It allows users to train the vocal model on their voices. They can upload clean tracks, finished tracks with backing music, or just sing directly into the microphone on their phone or laptop. The cleaner and higher quality the recording, the less data is required. To prevent someone from stealing someone else’s voice, Suno also requires the user to say a verification phrase. However, it may be possible to fool this using existing AI models of celebrity voices.

Once the Voices feature is trained, users can then have an AI version of themselves sing along to their uploaded music Output generated by artificial intelligence.

To further customize the output, custom templates allow users to train Suno to their own music. Users will need to upload at least six tracks from their catalog and give the custom template a name. They will then be able to use it to guide Version 5.5’s responses to prompts.

Finally, My Taste learns your tastes and preferences over time. What genres, moods and artists do you routinely return to for prompts, and apply them when using the Magic Wand to automatically create styles.

Although My Taste will be available to all users, custom sounds and templates are reserved for Pro and Premium subscribers.
