Sony is delaying the launch of its FlexStrike fight stick controller for PS5 and PC, which was scheduled to launch on August 6th, to an unspecified date in the future. The company blames the launch delay on “unexpected production delays.” The original planned launch of FlexStrike would have been in line with Release date to Marvel Toukon: Battle of Soulsa Marvel-themed fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by PlayStation.
“We wanted to share an update on the launch timing of the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick,” Sony says to update To the PlayStation Blog post about the console and other accessories. “Due to unexpected production delays, the FlexStrike Wireless Fighting Stick will be released at a later date. We will share the update soon.”
The FlexStrike costs $199.99, comes with a carrying case, and includes a built-in rechargeable battery. The controller has familiar PlayStation buttons, but they’re laid out flat, as if you were trying out a fighting game in an arcade or with other fight stick peripherals.
