Lisa Ann technically ending pornography Business in 2019, but for $30 a month, you can now dream up any X-rated scenario on your device Computer.
Anne, 53, was an adult performer for three decades starting in the mid-1990s and retired because she reached her savings goal.
But last year she changed her mind. Anne, who considers herself an AI fanatic, has signed with OhChat, which is based in London A companion to Amnesty Internationalto license her appearance on its platform, and create an AI version of her in all the ways she could be used to make sex scenes for paying clients: same voice, same physique, same soft brown hair.
As the issues surrounding deepfakes become more severe and questions about the future of the adult industry become more serious with… Passing age verification lawsmany companion AI platforms want to create a new standard for consent-based AI porn. More than sending anonymous sexual content chatbotDigital twins — also called duplicates, doubles, clones, or replicants — rely on exact similarities, including speech and mannerisms, of your favorite performers and creators.
Anne, now a self-help author and sports radio host, represents a growing faction in adult entertainment who not only believe that artificial intelligence will reshape the sex industry but want a say in how that change is achieved. She sees the decision to partner with OhChat as a way to tap into the fountain of youth and stay in peak form forever.
“It keeps my name alive,” she says of her digital twin. “It will never get old.”
For Cherie DeVille, a 47-year-old artist known for filming MILF content, digital twins are just a smart business strategy to earn passive income while the opportunity is right. “We can either let AI creators take the lion’s share of the money in sex work, or creators and companies can join in and start creating their own revenue streams through AI.”
OhChat creators, who must send 30 photos and undergo voice training with the bot, sign an agreement stipulating the level of sexual content allowed for their digital twin. Anne is considered “Level 4” – the highest on the platform – which means paying members can create her own scenarios and conversations that include full nudity and sex. Subject to company guidelines, copies may be deleted at any time.
“For men who like to say good morning or good evening, they now have that access. The fact that I’m not filming scenes anymore also allows for new scenes to be created,” says Anne.
Launched in 2024, OhChat was described by CEO Nick Young as “the love child between OnlyFans and OpenAI,” and has since expanded to over 400,000 users. According to data shared with WIRED, OhChat has 250 creators, 90 percent of whom are female, and has contracts with celebrities Carmen Elektra and Joe Exotic. The platform operates on a tiered subscription model — $5 a month for on-demand texts or up to $30 for unlimited adult content — and the company, like OnlyFans, takes a 20 percent discount.
Other competitors in the space include My.Club, Thursday Amnesty International and SinfulX AIThe platform that adult film actress Georgia Koneva signed up with this month, saying, in press releaseThat her avatar gave her “a new way to share my voice and personality with the people who follow me.” According to SinfulX AI, it is also developing “authentic” synthetic characters using licensed source images from adult artists who have the rights to use their content. In the same statement, the company said that these AI-generated “characters” are “designed not to mimic any individual while maintaining the realism for which their content is known.”
