Review: Xgimi Titan Noir Max (2026) Home Projector

To test deep blacks, I enabled DBLE and tried more settings, including noise reduction and sharpness settings. My favorite sci-fi movie to test out is Deep Black creatorespecially the early morning scene in the movie. Every TV and projector with poor contrast and brightness makes this segment dull, but the Titan Noir Max made blacks and dark grays look rich without any hint of poor contrast, aided mostly by the dynamic iris and DBLE.

However, the Titan Noir Max did not pass all tests successfully. Avatar: Fire and Ashes It looks more realistic and colorful on the Epson ProCinema LS9000, which uses an advanced lens that does a better job focusing the entire image. While the Titan Noir Max still looks exceptional, bright and colorful in a scene with whale-like creatures on a sunny day, the LS9000 outperforms it in terms of pure resolution and sharp focus. This particular scene looked almost the same on the Leica Cine Play 1 as the Titan with vivid colors.

I then began testing in a brightly lit room. Many projectors, including the Leica Cine Play 1, don’t perform well in a bright room. Titan Noir Max was still impressive during the movie’s battle scenes War machine on Netflix, especially when the events are outdoors. Glorious for gaming and everything else

I was mostly satisfied with the image quality in the darkroom but wanted to test the dynamic iris further. This is where the game is 007: First Light On Xbox it comes in handy. Titan Noir Max constantly and instantly adapts to these color variations. You can hear the iris weakly adjusting if you enable this feature, which I enjoyed but others may find annoying. With every shooting in the game or during a chaotic movie like Hoppersyou will never hear the iris.
