Wacom has completely fixed it Intuos Pro drawings To make them more tight, comfortable, and customized for creative professionals. This is the biggest redesign of the Intuos Pro collection since its introduction in 2013, and it features a new planning that transmits the user controls from the side to the top of the tablet and replaces the previous touch ring with mechanical faces. It is a big change, but I quickly welcomed in the short time in which I had to test it myself.
Intuos Pro is Tablet Pen Tablet Wacom, which targets industry permits such as 3D artists, painters and photo editors who prefer to work on their own shows (usually calibration). Unlike Wakum Cintiq or One -scaleIntuos Pro does not have a built -in screen, making it easier to throw in a bag and connect to computing devices.
There are three sizes available: small (269.99 euros), medium (399.99 euros), and large (549.99 euros). I will update the prices with us when they are broadcast later today. Each model is actually smaller than its equivalent predecessor, but it is characterized by larger active areas that benefit from this space better. For example, medium scales 2025 11.5 x 8.1 inches can accommodate 13.2 x 8.5 inches for the 2017 version, however it features a drawing area of 10.4 x 5.8 inches compared to 8.7 x 5.8 inches for the previous model. It is generally thinner, as it features a new 0.16-0.28-inch slope design (4-7 mm) instead of the previous 0.3-inch (8 mm) thickness.
The most obvious change, however, is the design. When all previous Intuos Pro models have user controls such as customizable buttons and sensitive wheels on the side, they have now been transferred to the top of the tablet. Both greatly reduce the space on both sides of the active pen area and make it easy for left users or users to form their workflow.
The touch wheel is also replaced by mechanical faces by touch – one on small stones, on other sizes – which provides more accuracy when passing through the tools and procedures that users allocate to them. The Express Thanksable switches have also been updated to a round design to save space, with five buttons on the small and ten models in the larger models.
The Intuos Pro collection works with Windows 10, MacOS 13 or later. It supports both USB-C to the USB-A and Wireless connection via Bluetooth 5.3, the latter provides the battery life up to 16 hours when it is fully charged, according to Wacom. Users can jump between USB and Bluetooth via a key on the side of the tablet, allowing it to associate with two devices simultaneously.
It comes with the same privatized pen wacom Pro Pen 3 which is charged with Wacom’s Cintiq Pro and Movink display tabletsIt is characterized by thickness and adjustable buttons. One wave if you already have these tablets is that the Pro Pen 3 can turn between devices, which is useful if you work through multiple tablets. The new Intuos Pro also corresponds to the previous Wacom Pro pens from the previous generation and the Emr style of Pilot, DR GRIP, Lamy and Staedtler.
I managed to deal with a pre -production sample for a short time. Although the full review will come later when I can test a final version, the most dug design felt a good construction and was not weak. The slope was not important to feel remarkably comfortable, but I did not use it in long periods like many creative professionals. The new design is a welcome improvement compared to the presence of buttons and wheel on both sides, as my wrists may activate something, and it didn’t take a long time to adapt to the glossy mechanical phone call.
