Amazon hit the stage for its Upfront presentation on Monday and announced a whole new slate of original series in development, some of which are set to debut on Prime Video In 2026 and 2027.
We’ve got noteworthy updates on successful titles on the platform – Aaron Paul is joining Fallout Season 3, and The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Now it has a premiere date for season three. From spy and miscellaneous titles to more, Prime Video’s event day was packed with noteworthy entries to keep an eye on.
Amazon also provided some updates on previously announced projects, such as the live-action film Voltron, Delphi, The Greatest (about Muhammad Ali), the Reacher spin-off Neagley, Clashing Through the Snow, and its new TV series Barbershop. Plugs for the upcoming Carrie TV show, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s holiday movie, The Man with the Bag, and an adaptation of the Dragon Rider’s Four Wing book series were also part of the event.

Ride or die
Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham star in this new comedy series as friends Debbie and Judith, who think they know each other inside and out. But Judith has been keeping a big secret: she is an international assassin. Someone from her past forces Judith and Debbie to go on the run and delve deeper into a life of spying across Europe. The series will premiere on Prime Video on July 15.

Brett Goldstein plays a divorced father who falls into the Manhattan world of male escorts in this new romantic comedy. “I’m so excited to be doing a helpful show about condoms and co-parenting and cosplaying on Amazon, which is where I actually buy my condoms, so this feels like a real full circle moment,” Goldstein said in a statement.
Sex criminals
This upcoming series stars Imogen Poots and John Reynolds as Susie and John, two people who can freeze time while having sex. So they decided to rob banks. Sex Crimes is based on the popular comic book created by Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky and co-created by Emily V. Gordon, Kumail Nanjiani and Tze Chun.
Rose Hill
Rose Hill is based on Elsie Silver’s best-selling romance novels and follows friends and neighbors, West Belmont – a farmer with relationship problems – and tormented record company owner Ford Grant, who has feelings for West’s sister, Rosie. Add a country pop star named Skylar Stone to warm up this small mountain town.
Reality retreat
Prime Video’s new reality competition series pits 11 reality stars against each other at a high-stakes spa. The series’ cast includes Housewives stars Kenya Moore, Margaret Joseph and Kim Zolciak. Bachelorette fan favorites Kaitlyn Bristowe, Jen Tran, Jolie and Savannah Chrisley; And other notable figures: Christine Quinn, Brittany Cartwright, Tamar Braxton, and Hilaria Baldwin.
