Play Sniper Elite: Resistance and more on Xbox Game Pass coming soon

Sniper Elite is an award-winning stealth and tactical game series, and according to ForbesIt has sold more than 30 million units worldwide. And on January 30, some Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play the latest installment in the series, Sniper Elite: Resistance, on its first day of release.

The subscription provides access to a large library of games, with new titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 They’re being added every month, along with features like online multiplayer and deals on non-Game Pass titles.

Choose your character, team up with friends and compete with others in 5v5 hero shooters, such as… league of legends or Monitoring. Use strategy and skill to eliminate the other team’s Guardian while protecting your own. This is the definitive, premium version of the Gigantic hero shooter, bringing new heroes and maps to all players.

Kunitsu-gami: Path of the Goddess (Console)

available: January 22

Game Pass Standard subscribers can play this game After a few months Microsoft brought it to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The mountain has been covered in impurity, and it is up to you to cleanse the land. This game is a unique Japanese-inspired action strategy game that follows two different cycles of day and night gameplay. During the day, you cleanse the villages and prepare yourself for nightfall. Then, once the sun sets, you must protect the maiden from enemies known as Seethe. It is up to you to restore peace to the mountain and its villages.

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have been able to play this game ever since JulyGame Pass Standard subscribers can enjoy soon too. Cook magical dishes, explore a new city, and serve delicious cuisine to the locals in this wholesome pixel art platformer. You play as Flora, who wants to become a real witch, opening up shop in a port town full of eccentric characters and a few mischievous members of the opposing witches. Don’t let them get in the way of cooking, shopping, and making friends with the locals.

Game Pass Standard subscribers should get ready to explore a tropical archipelago in this action-adventure game. Navigate, climb and slide around the environment in a beautiful physics-based sandbox experience. Oh, and did I mention that you can control any animal or object you encounter? This means that if you want to swim like a turtle, roll like a tire, or float like a beach ball, you can.

Golden Idol Case (Console)

Game Pass Standard subscribers need to put on their detective cap because a murder has taken place – in fact, about a dozen people. You’ll play as an 18th-century detective investigating these murders, which span over five decades. You will have to investigate the crime scenes, deduce the motives behind the murders and uncover the killer or killers in this mystery game.

Starbound (cloud and console)

available: January 22

PC Game Pass subscribers can already play this intergalactic action game, and Microsoft is bringing it to Game Pass Standard and Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta). In this game, you have to decide how you want to play and what your ultimate goal is. You can go on an adventure through space to save the galaxy, you can explore dungeons and planets filled with strange creatures and animals or you can settle down and farm the land. The choice is yours, but growing some alien produce and raising exotic farm animals sounds cool to me.

Eternal threads

available: January 28

This first fantasy game comes from Yellow Brick Games, an independent studio founded by industry experts who worked on beloved games like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Assassin’s Creed, and Watch Dogs. You’ll fight giant monsters with an arsenal of powerful weapons and magic. And don’t be afraid to experiment with your magical abilities. You can set fire to a tree and throw it at your enemies or erect a wall of ice to block any incoming attack. So, you may not have a sword and shield in combat, but you have no options.

Orcs must die! Death trap

available: January 28

The orcs are back in the latest installment of this tower defense series, but your goal remains the same: kill every single one of the orcs. Each hero in this game has a unique playstyle, so choose the one that’s most fun for you. Team up with others in four-player co-op to take down chaotic crowds.

Shadi is part of me

available: January 29

This unique game sends you on an emotional journey through surreal landscapes full of twists and surprises. You play as a young girl and her shadow as they learn to cooperate and evolve together in order to emerge from your dream. You’ll solve puzzles using unique light and time mechanics, and use these same features to get out of sticky situations.

Elite Snipers: The Resistance

available: January 30

The latest entry in this popular series transports you to Nazi-occupied France far from the front lines of World War II. You will work with the French Resistance to uncover and eliminate the weapon that the Nazis hope will ensure their victory. But you don’t have to do this task alone. You can play the campaign with a friend in co-op, and then you can take on others in online multiplayer matches. If competition isn’t your style, crush waves of Nazis and enemies with friends in Survival mode.

Sleeping Citizen 2: Star Transporter

available: January 31

This sequel to one of the most popular RPGs of 2022 will launch day one on Game Pass. You play as the Sleeper, a simulated human mind in an artificial body, as you try to outmaneuver the corporation that created you and the gang that wants to control you. You’ll command a ship, recruit a crew, and make contracts as you try to build a better future for yourself in this sci-fi game.

Far Cry New Dawn

available: February 4

Return to Hope County, Montana, in this game set 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5. The global nuclear disaster at the end of the previous game has scarred Hope County, mutating animals and plants alike. A group of people called the Highwaymen threatens to seize the last resources, and it’s up to you to stop the group and its leaders, the Twins.

Games are leaving Game Pass soon

While Game Pass subscribers will be able to play these games soon, Microsoft will remove six games from the service on January 31. So you still have some time to finish the campaigns and finish any side quests before you have to buy these games separately.
