Pinterest’s “tuner” lets you reduce the amount of AI content — but not completely


Pinterest is being introduced tool The company says this allows users to “connect with AI” in their feed. Users can select which categories they want to fill with more or less AI-generated content. But Pinterest stops short of promising a completely AI-free feed: The tool will only work on “eligible image pins” in categories susceptible to AI content, including beauty, art, fashion, and home decor.

The Tuner tool is located on the Pinterest Settings page under “Optimize Your Recommendations” in the GenAI Interests tab. The company says the feature is already available for Android and desktop users, and iPhone users will get the feature in the coming weeks.
