This May, Tubi has some exciting new original movies you can watch, including The Battle for Castle Itter, which is about a real World War II battle in which American and French soldiers teamed up with a group of Nazis-turned-resistance fighters to rescue a group of prisoners. Tubi’s new original film, The Battle For Castle Itter, is a historical drama based on true events from the final days of World War II, often referred to as the strangest battle of the Great War. Starring Alexandre Termises, Daniel Grojean, and Frano Lasek, the film revolves around a group of American soldiers and French prisoners of war who form an unlikely alliance with a group of German soldiers to rescue a group of French prisoners and politicians who were scheduled to be executed in an Austrian castle by the Nazis. The film arrives on May 1.
