OpenAI has just released its answer to Cloud Mythos

Its launch comes just over a month after its competitor Anthropic Claude Mythosa security-focused AI model, claimed it was too dangerous to be released publicly and was only shared privately as part of its own initiative, dubbed Project Glasswing. However, this did not prevent at least some unauthorized parties of arrival.

However, OpenAI so far lacks a similar security product. Like Glasswing, Daybreak is built on just one AI model: OpenAI He says “Daybreak combines the most capable OpenAI models with Codex and our security partners.”

Daybreak also includes specialized electronic templates, including GPT-5.5 with reliable Internet access and GPT-5.5-CyberWhich began rolling out last week. OpenAI also says it is working with its “industry and government partners” as it prepares to “deploy increasingly more cyber-capable models.”
