LM notebook is getting A bunch of new features That would make this, one of the best Artificial intelligence tools There is, even better. It’s already a comprehensive and powerful tool, but Google tends to roll out a series of small feature updates that together add up to a big upgrade, increasing its flexibility and ease of use.
It doesn’t really matter what you use it for; NotebookLM lets you make the most of your data and transform it into a variety of outputs. You can convert a series of written notes into a file Podcast, videoInfographics and more at the click of a button.
Earlier this month, Google released Cinematic video overview For NotebookLM, which combines the best AI tools from Google. Use twin, Nano Banana Pro and I see 3Cinematic video presentations are a superior version of the original feature that adds rich animation and style to your data sources.
Here’s what’s new in NotebookLM.
Google has introduced a highly requested feature for NotebookLM users of slide decks. Previously, once you created a slide, there wasn’t much you could do with it — it was just a static image. Now, that has changed. You can make revisions to your slides once you decide what you want to change.
This feature allows you to review your slides and request specific changes to as many as you want. Once you make edit requests, you can create a completely new group, and the changes will be there.
Right now, you can’t manually edit individual elements with slides — just recreate them — but this is one step closer to that possible future.
The ability to review slides is available to all users over the age of 18.
If you like visualizing your data, you might enjoy playing with NotebookLM’s ability to create graphs. There are now 10 different options to choose from, so you can decide the look and format of the story you’re trying to tell. Options include sketch, clay, educational notebook and more. If you don’t select a style, NotebookLM will automatically choose a style based on your sources.
These new chart styles are available to all users over the age of 18.
Some updates to quizzes and flashcards improve the overall experience. Individual test questions and flashcards can be deleted, progress is saved across all sessions and you can mark individual questions as ‘understood’ or ‘missed’ so you know where to refocus when you return to the test for round two. Improvements have also been made to the results page after completing the test for a better viewing experience.
Test and flashcard updates are now available to all users.
NotebookLM supports a variety of file types that can be created as sources, and gains another option: EPUB. The standard open source file type for eBooks can now be uploaded as a source, providing a very useful new option for working with an AI tool.
In addition, slide decks can now be exported to PPTX format, so decks created with NotebookLM can be opened in Microsoft PowerPoint.
NotebookLM now lets you create items directly from chat. This means you can create audio overviews, reports, charts, and more based on your current conversation with Gemini without having to manually open the Studio tab.
