Netflix is raising prices again. In it Latest earnings report “We are adjusting pricing today across most plans” in the US, Canada, Portugal and Argentina, the streaming service announced Tuesday.
The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg a report The ad-supported tier is increasing from $6.99 to $7.99 per month, while the standard ad-free tier will rise from $15.49 to $17.99 per month. The more expensive Premium tier also increases from $22.99 to $24.99 per month.
Edge I reached out to Netflix to request more information about the pricing changes but did not immediately hear back. “As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value to our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so we can reinvest to further improve Netflix,” the company’s letter to investors said.
Netflix finished the final quarter of 2024 with a strong slate of content, with the company saying it added 19 million new subscribers, the most in its history.
