Midjourney purchased astrology app Co-Star

Co-Star is a free app that provides daily horoscopes and allows you to check your compatibility with friends. As noted on Application FAQ pageIt combines human vision, data from NASA, and artificial intelligence to deliver personalized advice to users every day. Terms of the Midjourney deal, which reportedly closed in the spring, were not disclosed.

Midjourney founder David Holz says Co-Star founder Banu Guler will remain in charge of the app after the acquisition. Meanwhile, Guler will also take on the role of chief design officer at Midjourney, according to Midjourney. Bloomberg. Holz told the outlet that Guler and her team will help Midjourney build the company’s first apps, including a custom photo-generating app. Midjourney currently houses its AI models on the web and through Discord.
