Logitech has announced a new suite of productivity plug-ins for its entire MX accessories line, including Stream deck The alternative is the MX Creative Console. since The console launches in September 2024Logitech has expanded its capabilities through plug-ins that Support for creativity-focused applications Such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Lightroom, and Figma. This now expands to include productivity apps, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from Microsoft Office, as well as Slack and Notion.
Shortcuts, actions and tools defined in those apps can be quickly accessed using Logitech’s Actions Ring menus, which are supported by extensions such as MX Master 4 mouse and Small mechanical MX keyboard. Workshops are available through Logi Options Plus app, Which is also used to customize and personalize the functions of different Logitech accessories.
With MX Creative Console, you can create custom buttons for common functions across newly supported apps, such as replacing text in Word, inserting cells in Excel, switching Slack workspaces, or formatting to-do lists in Notion. The new productivity plugins are now available for free through the Logi Marketplace.
Along with the new plug-ins, Logitech also announced improvements to the Easy Switch feature, allowing accessories like mice and keyboards to connect to multiple computers and switch between them. Instead of having to press the Easy Switch button on each device you want to switch, the Logi Options Plus app can be configured so that pressing the button on the MX Keys S or MX Keys Mini keyboards will switch the MX Mouse and MX Creative Dialpad as well. One press of the button can transfer up to three devices. Logitech says a firmware update will be required for accessories you want to use with this feature, and it plans to expand support to additional keyboards in the MX line in the future.
