Microsoft 365 Copilot gets a speed boost and a cleaner design

Microsoft is Launching a renewed version From Microsoft 365 Copilot, which offers a cleaner design that the company claims loads twice as fast. As part of this update, Copilot will provide more reliable and organized responses that are easier to scan, according to Microsoft.

The redesign, which is rolling out across desktop and mobile devices, comes with a feature Microsoft calls “progressive reveal.” This means that Copilot will present you with tools and controls based on your prompt, rather than offering you a bunch of options at once. You can now format text directly inside the upgraded prompt box in Copilot as well, which will expand to fit whatever you type or paste.

Within Microsoft 365 Apps, Copilot opens within a side panel, where it can answer questions or suggest changes and make changes to your document. You can also open a chat window from within a paragraph, spreadsheet cell, or slide.
