Meet the new Dyson vacuums: V16 Piston Animal, V10 Konical, V8 Cyclone (2026)

Dyson now has three new cordless vacuums you can shop, plus one with a submersible head: Dyson V16 Animal Piston ($980) and Dyson V16 Beeston Animal Submariner ($1,100)the Dyson V10 cone ($500)and Dyson Hurricane V8 ($400). On top of the other vacuum cleaners launched by the brand this year, the Dyson lineup is bigger than ever.

Dyson calls V16 piston animal ($980) The most powerful cordless vacuum yet. It has 315W suction power and the new 900W Dyson Hyperdymium motor. There’s a new cleaner head – the All Floor Cones Sense – with conical brush bars that look a bit like the PencilVac Fluffycones, with a similar design and color scheme. The All Floor Cones Sense head also promises to detect changes in floor type and respond automatically (hence the “Sense”). It also still comes with the Fluffy Optic cleaner head for hard floors, as pictured V15 and Gen5detect.

The V16 Piston Animal also has a debris box that can compress dust and debris, allowing it to keep up to 30 days. It also now has an unloading mechanism that allows you to push the debris out, making emptying easier. Dyson has promised a self-discharging docking station for this model, but it is not yet available; Dyson says it will be available for purchase in the future.

There is also a The type of submarine that sells for $1,100. This version adds a wet rotating head similar to the V15 Detect Submarine, but Dyson says this version has new wet control technology to use water more targetedly while cleaning, and a boost mode when dealing with stains.

the Dyson V10 cone ($500) It’s Dyson’s first self-emptying vacuum, but the bulky docking station you’ll sometimes see pictured with it — the Dok auto-emptying vacuum, which will retail for $150 — won’t be available for purchase until August.
