Marshall has announced a new version of its stylish Stockwell Bluetooth headphones, with a new focus on repairability. Stockwell III, the brand’s first update to this model Since early 2019It features a similar design to its predecessor with a large carrying handle and speakers that pump sound in all directions, not just from the front like the famous Marshall amplifiers that inspired it. It will be available for purchase starting from August 4 through the company’s online store and Costco for $249.99.
Battery life has been doubled from 20 hours to over 40 hours for the Stockwell III, but the overall potential life of the speaker has been extended even further. This upgraded battery is now replaceable – a feature Marshall introduced with it Medium ANC wireless headphones Last month for which we can thank New EU regulations to. Repairability also extends to other parts of the Stockwell III. You can replace the velvet-lined carrying strap, Marshall logo front and back grilles, and the faux leather wrap-around silicone cover that protects the entire speaker. This approach not only extends the life of the product, but can also improve resale potential by helping to maintain its new appearance.
The upgraded battery can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices via USB-C, while the speaker’s waterproof rating has been improved from IPX4 to IP55 so it’s now even more conducive to staying alive and keeping dust out. The brass control panel on top of the Stockwell III has been updated with an M button for switching to a pre-selected audio profile, as well as a dedicated media control button that can be used to pause, play or skip tracks.
