Holo‘s popularity can be attributed to its wide range of great old TV shows and filmsand some high-profile original shows, including Only Murders in the Building, Paradise, and The Handmaid’s Tale. The platform’s collaboration with FX has also produced some of the platform’s most iconic and popular shows, including The Bear, Reservation Dogs, and Shogun.
Hulu has one of the most diverse programming lineups this month, featuring sports, music, docuseries, and sitcoms. You can watch the premiere of the annual ESPY Awards on July 16 on the platform to watch some of the year’s biggest sports stars receive their roses, or watch the new boxing drama They Fight, starring Andre Holland and Wendell Pierce, based on the true story of boxing trainer Walt Manigan. The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be released on July 29, the same day it hits Disney Plus.
The new crime series Furious, starring Emmy Rossum, arrives this month, as does a special episode of the hit FX comedy Adults. And on the heels of Bonnaroo’s live broadcast last month, you can watch every day of Lollapalooza live from Chicago’s Grant Park on your streaming device.
Here’s a look at when you can watch these titles and more new Hulu releases in July.
July 1
Abandoned is a Spanish docuseries now available on Hulu about three siblings who are found abandoned in a Barcelona train station in 1984. Unable to explain their identity or their parents, they are eventually adopted by a new family. Forty years later, these children go on a journey to find out who their parents are and why they were abandoned. The four-episode series seeks to uncover the truth about what really happened all those years ago. Abandoned was released earlier this year in Spain and will arrive on Hulu in the US on July 1.
July 16
Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernandez will host the 2026 ESPYs, which will premiere Wednesday, July 15 at 8pm ET on ABC and ESPN Plus. The show will stream the next day on Hulu and Disney Plus. The annual awards ceremony will be broadcast live from Lincoln Center in New York City, and in addition to honoring all of the year’s most important athletes and their contributions, special honorees will include the late basketball star Jason Collins, former MLB player Jim Abbott, and U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmer Scott Ruskan.
July 17
They Fight is a Hulu original sports drama starring Andre Holland as Walt Manigan, a boxing coach who takes on a team of aspiring boxers after being released from prison. The film is based on the 2018 documentary of the same name, and co-stars Wendell Pierce, Samara Wiley, and Mykelti Williamson. After premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, the film will arrive on Hulu on July 17.
July 20
After running for 13 seasons on Fox, Mike Judge’s animated series King of the Hill returns with new episodes on Hulu in 2025. The new season, which sees Hank and Peggy Hill retire and deal with the antics of their now-adult son Bobby, arrives on Hulu on July 20. The show features the voices of Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss, who all star. In the original run of the series.
July 27
From creator and executive producer Elizabeth Meriwether, who previously created New Girl, The Dropout, and Dying for Sex, Furious follows FBI agent Alice Black (Emmy Rossum), who gets caught up in her investigation into a mysterious serial killer. The series also stars Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstein, and Jake Lacy. The series premieres with three episodes on July 27, followed by new episodes weekly on Mondays.
July 30 – August 2
Lollapalooza, the annual music festival that has found a home in Chicago’s Grant Park, will once again stream live on Hulu (and for the first time on Disney Plus) this year for all four days of the event. You can catch acts like Lorde, Charlie A detailed broadcast schedule will be released closer to the event.
July 31
The Hulu adult sitcom premiered last year and became an instant hit. The series revolves around a group of friends who live together in Queens, and stars Malik Al-Assal, Lucy Fryer, Jack Inanen, Amita Rao, and Owen Thiel. This month, a special preview episode titled “Marathon Day,” which explores the group’s origins and how they became friends, is scheduled to premiere on Friday, July 31. It will be a great way to attract fans who are eager for more episodes – Season 2 will be released later this summer.
