The best Super Mario The games are the ones that I find myself coming back to over and over again. I’m not sure I want to count the copies Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World I own several Nintendo consoles, but it’s worth it for how satisfying it is to replay those classic levels, like revisiting a favorite album. It’s simple enough that you can get into it easily, but with a level of depth that means I’m always discovering new things. Over the past few years I have added Super Mario Bros Wonder To that list, A game full of new ideas and Which exudes fun. It’s a great way to unwind — and if you’re looking for an excuse to come back again, the new Switch 2 upgrade is the perfect place.
New version – full name: Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch Version 2 + Encounter at Bellabel Park – It is basically a medium sized expansion for the game. For me, the biggest addition was the array of challenging levels to play through, each with its own boss battle. All levels are centered around different Koopaling (Their backstory is a bit complicated) who gains access to the “wonderful” flower, which gives him new power. In the great tradition Mario Wonder, The powers are all very strange: In one level, you are hunted by a giant fish that flies through the air using portals; Elsewhere there are giant piranha plants that can also be used as platforms. The last level also introduces weather effects, where you will have to fight strong winds and avoid lightning strikes.
There are only seven of these levels, but they showcase the best of them He wondersoffering challenge and surprise in equal measure. When you defeat them all, you unlock more challenging versions of each boss battle. These are part of a series of challenges that the game calls “boot camp.” Here you’re given a goal – collect every coin before time runs out, for example, or reach the end of a level without losing invincibility – and move through a series of progressively more difficult versions of them. Levels get harder, with more complex jumps and more enemies, and you’re often limited to specific power-ups and badges that force you to play a certain way. I can say these will keep me busy for a while.
That’s about all that’s available for the single-player additions, with the bulk of the expansion focusing on a new area filled with multiplayer minigames. This site is basically transforming He wonders In a mini version of Mario Partyexcept without all of Mario Party prattle.
There is a great deal of variety in the games. In one, you have to work with other players to collect a certain number of coins or jump a certain number of times before completing the level. And since the game doesn’t keep track of that for you, you all need to work – and count – together to get to exactly the right number and not fail. There is another game that is used by one player Mario MakerStyle controls to build platforms that their co-op partner can navigate. Many of the other games are more straightforward, such as competing to collect the most coins or feeding Baby Yoshi the most food, and there are a total of 17 games to play through. My favorite is the version of the tag where anyone other than that can disguise themselves as inanimate objects. It happens very messy.
There are a few other extras – Rosalina as a playable character, a power-up that turns you into a flower, a garden you can decorate, and some unnecessary mouse controls – so overall it’s a pretty solid package for a $20 upgrade. For me, at least, it’s a no-brainer. Although multiplayer games are a fun bonus, all I’m looking for are new levels and challenges for those moments when I decide I need more He wonders In my life.
