Is Cloud Down? Here’s the latest

Anthropic’s AI Cloud appears to have experienced a power outage on Tuesday, according to online reports.

Users reported a significant spike in errors To Downdetectorwith over 2,000 reports as of 1:27 PM ET/10:27 AM PT. The number of reports decreased significantly very quickly as Anthropic implemented the fix. (Disclosure: Downdetector and CNET are owned by the same parent company, Ziff Davis.)

Anthropic Status page The company reported the issue just before 1:30 PM ET, with the company saying it was investigating the elevated bug that affected multiple forms and across the Claude web interface, API, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork. Subsequent updates said the company had tried to fix the issue and was monitoring the results, but the company was still seeing issues in some models.
