The new Insta360 Mic Pro, which the company is teasing during the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, is designed to be displayed prominently. On the front of each transmitter is a round color e-ink display that can be customized with photos, logos, branding or custom artwork.

The company didn’t share details about when the Mic Pro will launch, apart from a global release planned for later this year, but it did reveal some of its functionality. All wireless transmitters feature a three-microphone array and a dedicated AI processor, enhancing their noise reduction capabilities.

As with last year’s Mic Air, the new Mic Pro can connect and send audio directly to multiple Insta360 cameras, so you don’t necessarily have to rely on a wireless receiver and smartphone or laptop to record audio. For added peace of mind while filming, the microphones can also record audio themselves, allowing you to create a backup in case something goes wrong with other recording devices.
