In a way, Apple’s new MacBook is cheaper than brand new headphones

Apple is full of surprises lately.

Last week, the company launched the cheapest laptop ever. MacBook NeoPriced at $499 for students with Apple Education Discount. (Uneducated people will pay $599 for the color budget machine.)

But just five days after the Neo arrived, Apple made an unexpected announcement: its most expensive over-ear headphones would be getting a new chip. the AirPods Max 2 It goes on sale March 25 for $549. This means that purchasing these headphones is more expensive for a student than purchasing a MacBook. (Unfortunately, Apple does not offer an educational discount on AirPods.)
