I’ve long argued that Hollywood has Set at one time and Subverted our expectations of smart glasses. But after watching two seasons of the Netflix series Man insideThis is perhaps the first time I’ve seen Hollywood, perhaps unintentionally, articulate the biggest cultural problem with smart glasses as they are today.
In short, Ted Danson plays Charles Nieuwendyk, an elderly widower who finds new purpose working for a private investigator.
