If you’re looking for the equivalent of your 20s TV and video on a cartHisense’s new S6 FollowMe is a smart display that you can drag with you. It’s not a bot, though, I’m sorry to report.
This little guy, he announced in advance Consumer Electronics Show 2026is a 32-inch 4K smart display with far-field microphones and a built-in camera. It’s designed to be used for video calling, streaming, or searching the Internet. The smart display has an anti-glare, low-reflection panel and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and the built-in battery is good for up to 10 hours of use.
Although Hisense originally claimed that the TV “follows users throughout the home” and is able to “easily move from floor height to table height,” the company has clarified that the TV’s movement is entirely manual.
Unlike bali samsung or Amazon Astro RobotFollowMe is not a holographic display but a literal TV on wheels. FollowMe seems similar to Samsung’s “stupid” motion style – A smart screen that you can take out manually when you need it and it doesn’t look at you expectantly when you’re not using it.
Hisense press release I was very careful not to mention AI other than the Smart TV Assistant, but I suspect FollowMe uses Google TV and Google Gemini. Artificial intelligence is creeping into everything, as well Seamus O’Reilly wrote in The Gistespecially when it is not needed. In the case of FollowMe, you can simply leave it in the other room.

The Hisense S6 FollowMe Display will be available in the US starting May 1, 2026, and while we don’t know the price yet, a similar-looking Samsung Movingstyle costs $1,200.
Correction 5:02 PM ET: AAn earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that the TV could follow the user, but the company has since stated that the TV can only be moved manually.
