Here’s how Google is responding to Fitbit users who don’t like the new Health app


After a torrent of complaints about… Google Health app Which just replaced Fitbit, Google responded with a list of Changes Which will be launched starting this week.

Google is addressing some of the biggest complaints users have had, such as the Today dashboard that can only display health metrics users have chosen in the top half of the screen. Coming soon, Google says it will “make it easier to customize the Today and Health dashboards so you can reorder metrics within them or add or remove metrics more easily.”

Google Health also adds some missing features and quality of life improvements, like custom food viewing, creation, and logging, so you can add personalized food items to your records. The Day and Health tabs get charts of hourly step goals, too, and a new 24-hour sleep total overview will show both main and nap sleep.

One of the most controversial new features is Google’s AI coach. One person he asked Why “they now have to scroll through AI paragraphs” to see their health data, but others, He loves EdgeDavid PearceThey say they really get useful tips and ideas.
