Google’s Pixel 11 may look familiar: Here’s what’s changed

Google next Pixel smartphones It may only be a few months away, and we could already be seeing the first big Pixel 11 leak.

Google has worked hard on infusing the DNA into its smartphones twinAlthough this latest leak only shows CAD renders, it’s reasonable to expect the Pixel lineup to continue to have a heavy focus on AI.

The leak is for the standard non-Pro Pixel 11, which has received a major upgrade in previous generation By adding a third close-up camera. That’s still a differentiating factor from the standard iPhone and Pro these days.

Thinner bezels and a solid black camera strap

What’s actually different here? Not much. There appear to be slightly thinner bezels around the display, which we can assume will retain the 6.3-inch size of its predecessor. The only real, noticeable change is that the camera strip is now solid black, rather than having a large hole for all three sensors that contrasts with the rest of the strip.

Even if the Pixel 11 changes little in the coming months, the message seems clear: Google isn’t changing the design of its latest Pixel lineup.

Google first rolled out the massive Pixel redesign in the Pixel 6, including the contoured horizontal camera bar, and has continued to improve it ever since — with the exception of the latest Pixel A series. If the renders are to be believed, you may have to wait until the Pixel 12 arrives before you see substantial changes to the Pixel series’ design.

However, since Google has been working to beef up the power of what the phone’s AI and internals can do, dramatic design changes may be a lower priority. Fortunately, we may catch a glimpse when Google takes the stage at its session I/O conference in May.
