Google offers employees in search and others


Oh all-

It was an incredible a few months – our vision shared at I/O and GML, and we have been shipped at an amazing pace. We have seen a super positive response to artificial intelligence mode including our shopping ads, hearing excitement about our new advertising experiences directly from companies, and brings maps to new surfaces such as Gemini Live and XR. It was intense – but also fun and activated – and I saw and heard the same from many of you. I have assumed this role to lead the K& I because I think there is no best place to transform the life of billions of users during this moment of artificial intelligence. This is the opportunity of age – and it is here now.

At this exciting time and with a lot of important work, my goal is that each of us here is to build the future of our products. To support this, I made two decisions.

Submit a volunteer exit program (VEP) for K& I Googleers in the United States

Some Orgs in Google has offered a volunteer exit program (VEP) in the past few months, has shown close attention and studied whether we should do the same for K& I. After hearing positive notes on these pilots as well as applications inside ORG, I decided to submit the VEP- and this gives the qualified K& I Googlers (Org direct) ability to leave the company voluntarily with a separation package.

I want to be very clear: If you are excited about your work, it is active with the next opportunity, and good performance, I am really (really!) I hope you do not take this! We have ambitious plans and tons to accomplish. We need your energy and dedication, and I want you in Google! On the other hand, this VEP provides a supportive way to those of you who do not feel compatible with our strategy, do not feel vibrant from your work, or have difficulty facing your role expectations.

Change the local work site for K& I Googles in the United States

For Hybrid K & I Googleers, access to the office according to a hybrid schedule is part of our expectations. I heard me say that we think we are creating better and making decisions faster when we work together in the office. I have decided to update our work site policy to be more consistent, so our Googlers sites will move now and live it 50 miles from one of the K& I to the office. This means that they will comply with the 3/2 hybrid table that is already playing all K & I Googlers. We are working to ensure that our offices are ready to support our team because we welcome more Googles again to the office, and we offer transportation support if Googlers want a local dimension at the return site.

We look forward

My goal here is to make sure that everyone in our team is completely committed – it does not achieve a goal for the drug. In fact, we continue to recruit when needed, and we expect to play many exit roles – which will also create new opportunities for internal mobility and growth.

We will follow with all the US -based Googlers K& I and with us the local K & I Googlers to share relevant details by the end of the day. I hope you are able to make the right decision for you, and I really hope you are inspired by the opportunity here and choose to stay and build with us.
