Google’s new Fitbit Aira $99.99 screenless fitness tracker, will be released on May 26. It’s the company’s first Fitbit release in four years, and you can use it on iOS or Android phones without a paid subscription if all you want to do is track activity, sleep, and basic health metrics (heart rate, breathing rate, etc.). However, for a monthly fee of $9.99, it can take advantage of Gemini AI features aimed at helping you make improvements to your workouts and recovery.
All purchases include a cloth/polyurethane strip that fits over the sensor-filled disc. The advantage of pre-ordering before launch is that you’ll get a free second band, or enough store credit to buy one yourself, depending on where you buy from. Amazon It offers raspberry, blue, or black (but not mist green) color options that include a silicone band, in white or black, small or large, for $99.99 (regularly $134.99). You can choose from belt color and size Fitbit Air product page.
Best buy Also included is a free silicone band with Fitbit Air pre-orders. All you have to do is add one to your cart, then the small black silicone band will be added automatically. Unfortunately, you can’t choose the color or size you get with your pre-order at Best Buy, but it’s obviously not a big deal if you want a little black bar anyway.
Finally, Google Store Offers an incentive to pre-order. The company will simply reward you with $35 in store credit once the pre-order ships so you can purchase the product you want.
We have Piece on Fitbit Airwith information about its capabilities and how it compares to older Fitbit models (as well as the competition). The team behind the Air is also preparing a new Google Health app for launch on iOS and Android, which will provide deep, personalized health metrics so you can get more out of your tracking device. We’ll have a review of the new Fitbit Air in the coming weeks.
