Google It is reducing the price of its most expensive AI subscription as it expands twin In more parts of the web and Android.
in Google I/O Google said Tuesday that its higher-limit AI Ultra plan will drop from $250 to $200 per month. A subscription gives people access to Google’s most advanced Gemini tools and maximum usage. The company is also offering a new $100 Ultra plan for subscribers who want advanced Gemini features without the caps.
The pricing update comes as Google prepares to roll out Gemini Spark, an AI assistant-style tool designed to help people complete tasks across apps and the web. Spark will connect to the Chrome browser and will later display live updates and task progress through a new Android interface called Android Halo, said Josh Woodward, vice president of the Google Labs and Gemini app and AI Studio teams.
“Soon, Gemini Spark will also be able to connect to Chrome, which will help you get more done across the web and on Android,” Woodward said.
Spark will roll out first to trusted testers this week, followed by a beta to Google AI Ultra subscribers next week.
As announced by Google Gemini Omni, a new family of multimedia AI models that can work across text, audio, images and video. The first model, Gemini Omni Flash, will be available starting Tuesday to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app, Google Flow, and YouTube Shorts.
