Google announced Thursday that Gemini’s Personal Intelligence feature will get image generation powered by Nano Banana to create photos with personalized context.
This means that her AI avatars can be created using Gemini’s understanding of your likes and interests, without you having to explicitly indicate those things in a prompt.
This works because Gemini already has context for your data through your Google account connections, like Gmail and Google Photos. So, instead of writing, “Create a picture of my dream home, my interests are tennis and music,” you can now just say, “Design my dream home.”

What’s more, the Nano Banana-powered connection can also use labels in your Google Images, understanding names and words that describe a group, such as “family.” For example, you can create a photo by saying, “Create a photo of me and my family doing our favorite activity.”
The “Sources” button will show how Gemini derives the context for creating images, the company said.

Just like other communications, Gemini may get the context wrong, and you can provide feedback, Google said. In addition, you can also provide reference images for creating images by clicking the “+” icon.
The photo creation feature will be available to Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the US in the coming days. Google plans to bring this feature to Gemini in Chrome desktop and to other users soon.
Google debuted Personal Intelligence earlier this year and it nailed it Available to all US users in March. Earlier this week, the company expanded The feature is for more users in countries like India and Japan.
