Google’s Personal Intelligence feature, which lets Gemini pull data from apps like Google Photos to deliver personalized responses to you, can now use that data and its Nano Banana 2 photo model to create images based on your personal context.
With this feature, you can use prompts like “Design my dream home” or “Create a photo of my desert island essentials” and the images Gemini creates will “automatically reflect your specific tastes and lifestyle, sourced from the Google apps you’re connected to.” Google says in a blog post. Under the hood, the integration uses your ratings in Google Photos to identify people like you, your friends, and your family, and then the Nano Banana 2 creates the photo, says spokesperson Elijah Lawal. Google notes that if you subscribe to Personal Intelligence, the company will not “train” its AI models directly on your Google Photos library. However, it trains on “limited information” such as “Gemini-specific prompts and form responses.”
Google says the feature will be rolled out “over the next few days” to eligible AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the United States. The feature is scheduled to arrive in Gemini on Chrome desktops and “more users” soon.
