Donald Trump has officially been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. Although we have already witnessed a Trump presidency starting in 2016, this term may seem much different from the first, especially when it comes to regulating technology.
There is a good reason why CEOs are cozying up to Trump. The next four years could see the president’s choices impact their companies and workers in a laundry list of areas. We will look at:
Trump said he would use his first appearance in the Oval Office to sign “dozens of executive orders.” It is expected to cover border policy, environment and trade and perhaps even delay the TikTok ban. If it’s anything like the first term, we’ll see many of those challenged in court — and the results will indicate just how much control Trump will exert on his power this time.
