Discord is adding a free “pre-release” of Xbox Game Pass for Nitro subscribers


Discord is announcing the launch of Nitro Rewards today, a new subscriber program that bundles benefits from third parties like Microsoft, Logitech, and SteelSeries into a Nitro subscription. The main addition is that Nitro members will now get a new version of Xbox Game Pass at no additional cost.

The initial Xbox Game Pass release, which It leaked last monthallows PC and Xbox owners to download more than 50 games, including titles such as Fallout 4, Stardew Valleyand Days. The starter version also includes 10 hours per month of Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming and the ability to earn up to $25 per year in the Xbox Store with rewards.

Along with the Game Pass bundle, Nitro subscribers will also get up to 30 percent off at Logitech G, 15 percent off at SteelSeries, and 20 percent off at KontrolFreek. Nitro members will also receive 250 automatic orbs each month In-app currency Discord uses it to entice users to watch ads in exchange for things like avatar decorations or in-game rewards.
