BTS and McDonald’s have teamed up for the third time with new collectible toys


The dedicated fanbase of K-pop band BTS, Army, is familiar with this routine: arriving at the merchandise booth hours before the stadium gates open and waiting in line all day, in all types of weather, just hoping to score a city or member-specific t-shirt for the band’s Arirang world tour. Am I speaking from experience? Well, yes. Would I do this over and over again? Duh.

If you missed out on the merch of your dreams, there’s another collectible opportunity, and it doesn’t involve a merch kiosk: McDonald’s is offering a limited-time assortment of BT21 characters to Happy Meals.

Starting July 14 at participating McDonald’s restaurants, you can find and collect 10 unique space-themed BT21 toys. There is a toy for each of the seven members of the group, along with three others: Van (a character representing the military), a toy with all the characters on a spaceship, and a poster with stickers. The figures are designed with a loop clip to attach to bags or clothing.

McDonald’s and BTS have a history

This marks the third collaboration between BTS and the fast food chain.

In September 2025, McDonald’s launched TinyTAN Happy Meals that included figurines of the BTS members in cartoon forms. In May 2021, she revealed A BTS meal Which came with South Korean-inspired, paprika and Cajun dipping sauces.

The K-pop group is also scheduled to perform at Halftime show of the FIFA World Cup Final On July 19 in New Jersey with Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber.
