I remember two things about Christmas tree shopping as a kid, which was always the best day and the worst day. Choosing the tree was of course very exciting. But then you had to download it. And you had to move it after you put it in a pickup truck. Then you had to unpack it and bring it into the house. By the time you get rid of all that, you might as well forget about the Christmas spirit.
Well, the Internet is a pretty cool thing. The Home Depot is offering free Christmas tree delivery during Black Friday, on anything from artificial trees (This is the best seller now) to fresh fir, which is Already comes in stock online. (Or, if you prefer, check out WIRED’s roundup of the best artificial Christmas trees, It has also been tested by professionals.
Either one shows up at your doorstep at no extra charge, and no need for a pickup truck. Because we already live in the future.
