I basically tested it Every meal kit On the market over the past few years. Is there anything else I should have on hand?

I use a lot of paper towels when I prepare meal kits. I also highly recommend having a Rachael Ray-inspired “trash receptacle” on the counter for things like the random bits of plastic and paper towels mentioned above. (And a separate one for vegetable scraps, If you compost.) Another thing worth noting is that you will likely be using a lot of dishes when cooking meal kits. Start with your dishes ready and the dishwasher empty for the best experience. Finally, I like to have scissors to cut open sauce packets or chop scallions. I don’t think you really need special kitchen shears, but if you have some, they’ll come in handy. Otherwise just grab whatever (clean!) pair you have on hand.

I’ve used every ingredient in this guide while cooking dozens, if not hundreds, of dishes, both for work and in my personal life. I’ve washed it, stored it, cut it, and recommended it to my friends. (Congratulations, reader, we are friends now.)
